While most Moscow Mules are just a few ingredients poured into a copper mug, this one does have an extra step.
And it’s totally worth it.
The Spiced Cranberry Juice is easy to make but must be made ahead of time for the best flavor.
But it’s where all that amazing holiday flavor comes from.

I love to add fresh herbs as a garnish, especially during the holidays.
I love how they add another sensory experience as you bring the cup to your mouth.
Since they are so prevalent in holiday recipes, they also convey an almost memory reflex in the brain. At least it does in mine.
I almost included this copper mug on the list of ingredients. I mean, you don’t really need to have one for this cocktail to taste amazing.
They’re just awesome! The outside gets frosty cold and they just make sipping on a Moscow Mule with cranberry even tastier somehow.
If you don’t want to take the time to make the spiced cranberry juice, you can try my Holiday Mule Recipe.

My Holiday Mule uses a storebought cranberry cider that has all the extra flavor in it. It’s a time saver. But I’m still partial to this version.
The flavor just can’t be beat!
These Cranberry Mules would be perfect to serve for a White Elephant gift exchange or a cookie exchange party for a girl’s night in.
A Cranberry Mule is perfect to sip on all holiday season long! Make your Christmas extra merry with this festive drink!
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, of course. You’ll follow the same recipe as below. You’ll just lose all the holiday flavor for the infused juice I noted above. It will still be tasty. And you could even try to add some flavor back in with spices added to the juice in powder form.
There are so many brands of ginger beer on the market now. So it’s really a personal preference which type you use. I like Reed’s because it has a lot of great flavor without too much sweetness or a harsh ginger flavor. Bundaberg is also a great brand to try and is in a cute bottle. (That totally matters).
I try to pick up a new brand every time I see it but I always tend to go back to Reed’s.
