Try this Strawberry Whiskey Sour recipe this summer! It's smoky, thanks to the Magnus scotch whiskey and the fresh strawberry and thyme keep it refreshing and delicious!
Muddle strawberry, thyme and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
Add the scotch and simple syrup.
Add ice and shake well.
Strain into wine glass or Collins glass.
Top with soda water.
Garnish with strawberry and lemon (optional).
Notes
I LOVE fresh herbs so I added more. If you like a more subtle flavor, use less.If you want even more herb flavor, consider using a flavored simple syrup like my basil simple syrup! If you don't have Scotch Whiskey at home you can use any other scotch, whiskey or bourbon you have. Scotch has a smoky flavor so if you use something else, you will lose that flavor note.
