Ingredients
1.5ozcaramel vodka
3ozginger beerchilled
1ozsparkling water or club sodachilled
salted caramel saucefor garnish
cinnamon sticksfor garnish
brown sugarfor the rim
ice
Instructions
To a small saucer, add a shallow layer of caramel sauce, and to another saucer, sprinkle the brown sugar into a layer.
Dip your copper mug into the caramel sauce and then the sugar.
Fill the mug with ice, and pour in the caramel vodka, ginger beer, and the sparkling water or soda water. Stir to combine.
Drizzle with the caramel sauce, and stir to combine. Enjoy!
Notes
If you don't have caramel vodka, you can use regular vodka and extra salted caramel sauce in the drink. You'll need to do a taste test to balance the flavors to how you think it tastes best. Variations
Use cinnamon vodka - Smirnoff also make a great cinnamon vodka which would add more fall vibes to this drink - keep the caramel flavor by adding a little more syrup at the end.
Make an apple version - Caramel Apple Vodka and a fresh apple garnish, and sparkling apple cider in place of the ginger beer would be delicious here too!
Add lemon juice - Missing that citrusy hit of a regular Moscow Mule? A squeeze of fresh lemon juice will add back in that refreshing note.
