DIY Room Spray with Essential Oils
Use this easy room spray recipe to blend calming essential oils in a simple way to add a little aromatherapy to any space in your home.

Ingredients
- glass spray bottle (I used a 4-ounce bottle)
- 3 oz rose water
- 1 oz witch hazel
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
- 5 drops bergamot essential oil
- 5 drops ylang ylang essential oil
- 5 drops lemon essential oil
- 5-10 drops juniper berry essential oil
Instructions
- Add 1 oz of witch hazel to your bottle.
- Add the oils and shake well.
- Add the rose water then shake well again.
- The spray is ready. You will need to shake the bottle well before use each time.
Notes
Oils are best stored in a cool dark spot. So while the blue bottle will help to protect the oils, it's best to keep the bottle out of direct sunlight.
If you don't have witch hazel you can use vodka.
If you don't have rose water, you can just use plain water.
I put the estimated cost at $15 but it could be more or less depending on what supplies you may already have. I already had all the essential oils on hand which is the majority of the cost if you have to buy all the varieties.
