In a crockpot dump in the apple and cherry pie filling.
Sprinkle the cinnamon over the top.
Evenly spread the yellow cake mix over the fruit.
Drizzle the melted butter over the dry cake mix.
Top with pecans.
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
Serve warm, straight out of the slow cooker or let cool to room temperature.
Notes
To ensure that the cake mix crust is as crispy as possible, lay a layer of paper towels under the slow cooker lid to catch any condensation that may fall from the lid during cooking. Don't want to use the slow cooker or crockpot? You can make this apple cherry dump cake in the oven instead. Layer all of the ingredients in a 9x13 baking dish. Bake in a 350 degree oven for an hour or until golden brown.
