This easy 3 ingredient cocktail is full of refreshing flavor and is another great way to use that bottle of Aperol. Make an Aperol Gin and Tonic this weekend.
In a tall glass full of ice add the gin and Aperol.
Top with Tonic.
Taste and adjust.
Notes
Variations
Mix it with soda – Don’t like tonic? Use club soda instead! It will be super refreshing and let the flavors of the gin and Aperol really shine.
Make it a mocktail – Want to make this without alcohol?? Use an alcohol-free gin (like this one from Ritual) and a mix of fresh orange juice and grapefruit juice in place of the Aperol. See my Alcoholic Gin and Tonic recipe for reference.
Spicy – add some heat with some muddle jalapeno.
Herbs – Muddle herbs to add another layer of flavor
Fruit – Fresh berries or other citrus will give even more complexity to this drink
Make this cocktail then give it a taste test. Add or take away ingredients per your taste preferences. Want more sweetness? Add a little extra tonic. Want less booze, use less gin! Make this fit your flavor profile.Nutrition may be slightly off as the software couldn't determine the nutritional value of tonic water.
