Women’s Fall Fashion Trends with cabi
OBSESSED! From the moment I got a sneak peek of cabi’s fall 2018 line at cabi Blogger Day, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these pieces! It’s my favorite collection to date and I can’t wait for you to see it! I thought the best way to share it would be to tell you my favorite women’s fall fashion trends and how cabi nails them perfectly. As a cabi partner, I was sent me these outfits to share with you on the blog!
Women’s Fall Fashion Trends
Dress Over Jeans
Every time I’m with the cabi team I learn new styling tricks. Every single person that works there is so crazy stylish! My favorite thing I’ve picked up from them is wearing a dress over jeans! It’s a great way to transition some warmer weather looks into a more fall-friendly style! This is the look they picked for me for our professional photo shoot at Blogger Day. And I LOVED it! I wouldn’t have thought to pair this all together but I think it’s great.
There are so many ways to wear each of these pieces and I love that it can go from a totally casual look to something more business-y. The Floret Blouse is a great layering piece but is super cute on its own too. cabi does detail really well and while you can’t see it too well in this photo, this blouse has a cute ruffle-y collar! This moody floral is a great fall take on a classic print.
This black dress, called the Performance Dress, is so fantastic! It has a cute A-line cut which makes it super flattering for all kinds of body types. It’s also fully lined which I love. The material is thick and, even though it’s a sleeveless dress, it’s great for the fall. It’s one of those versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down which is awesome. 
It’s often hard for me to find jeans that fit me, but these jeans are great. The Authentic High Straight comes in a great dark wash, has a super trendy cuff (which you can also wear down or cut off to give it a frayed edge if you want) and are high waisted, which I prefer. I think they are so cute under a dress! They’re also really cute on their own too. I wore them with a t-shirt last week and got a lot of compliments on them. They have just a touch of stretch which makes them super comfortable.
And can we talk about these booties?! When I saw these Dandy Booties, I knew I needed them! The classic pattern is so fun for fall. The pointy toe and totally reasonable heel (one that I can totally walk in) feel retro and modern at the same time! They are so comfortable (and easy to put on with the side zipper) and you can wear them with all types of outfits.

One Thing, Multiple Ways
Not only does cabi make amazing clothes with really cute details, but they are super thoughtful with the design. A ton of the pieces can be worn in several ways. It’s the coolest thing ever! This pretty blue Fair Play cardigan is one of those pieces. Here I’m showing it with a vintage grey tank and the zipper in the front. The zipper on its own is super cute, but they’ve added a fun little notch, as well, to make it even more interesting. The cabi design team isn’t afraid to play with the sleeves also, and this 3/4 length is a bit wide and hangs really nicely. 
They designed this sweater to be worn with the zipper in the back too! Cute, right?! It’s a medium weight sweater and perfect for layering! 
cabi has nailed all the fall fashion trends with this collection! But all of these pieces are made to last season after season. I know that some people may look at the price of the pieces and think they are more than they would want to spend. The quality is fantastic and these are pieces you’re going to be able to wear for several years. While I like my fast, throwaway fashion, I’m really starting to move towards items that will last.

Classic Accessories
I’ve been seeing these coin style necklaces show up in magazines, etc. and I was coveting them! So I was super excited to see this version in cabi’s fall collection. While these are currently super trendy, these are actually a pretty classic design. One of my most prized possessions is a charm bracelet that belonged to my grandmother. While it does have some standard charms, it also features these coin style charms. I’ve been wearing this Apollo necklace nonstop!
A leopard scarf is a fun way to add interest to your outfit. The shape of the Leopard Scarf makes it easy to wear a number of ways. Here, I’m wearing it as a belt but I also love to knot it at the neck or even just drape it over my shoulders. It’s super cute with a casual outfit like I have on here, but think about how chic it would look with black pants and top!

Mixing Prints
I’m pretty much a jeans gal but when I saw these adorable plaid pants I had to have them! The Connery Trousers zip on the side which means they have a sleek, flat front. They are soft and super comfortable with just a hint of stretch. I knew they would be perfect to pair with this fun star blouse from the fall collection. I think sometimes fall style can be kind of boring. Mixing prints is a really easy to way to have a little fun!
I don’t know if you’ve picked up on it, but stars and celestial prints are all the rage for fall. This Galaxy Blouse is a little sheer, so I just threw on a little cami underneath. It’s super cute tied in a knot but you could also just do a little front tuck too. Mixing prints is an easy way to wear the clothes in your closet in a totally new way. Make fall the time to step out of your comfort zone and do something a little bolder!

A Do It All Jacket
This photo doesn’t do the Agency Jacket justice! It’s quite literally perfection. The length is super flattering and makes it great for layering. The back has a slight peplum which gives it a little bit of movement and shape. The arms have a tuck detail near the elbow. And the front (you can see a better image of the front below) lays really cute when unbuttoned, but looks cute closed too! When you wear it buttoned, it nips in at the waist and is really slimming. YOU NEED THIS JACKET! I just took it with me to a conference and wore it with just about all my outfits (it might have been the only jacket I brought…) but it worked with everything!
Another thing I love about cabi is that they create pieces out of the same material that easily coordinate. This jacket can actually be worn with the Performance Dress to make a more suit-like look!

Leopard as a Neutral
There is almost nothing that leopard print won’t go with. It’s such a great way to add a playful touch to a fall outfit. Here I’ve added these super cute low-heeled shoes! Yes, the leopard can go very Peg Bundy quickly. The key is to wear only one leopard item at a time. Try swapping it out for any piece that you would grab something that was black, white or beige and see how it looks. Instead of the leopard shoe, I could have done the super cute Flutter Blouse to, not only mix prints but use leopard as a basic.
Unfortunately, these shoes were so popular it looks like they are no longer available. Cabi also has another pair of shoes, the Interlock Block Heel, that could easily work as a neutral in a super on-trend army green crushed velvet! They are so cute!

Cabi Has all Your Fall Style Inspiration!
The cabi website is a great resource for styling tips and tricks. They do a really great job of sharing how to get the most out of your pieces. You should also be sure to check out the blog and Instagram (including stories!) for fall style inspiration. I always see new ideas for wearing their clothes!
