Crewneck sweatshirts for cozy mom style
I can’t stop wearing sweatshirts! Since I work at home, I like to be cozy and comfortable.
But when I have to run out for a quick errand, I try to not look like a total slob.
Crewneck sweatshirts with a graphic are one of my favorite things to wear when I throw together a casual mom outfit.
Styled with jeans or with a skirt, sweatshirts are more versatile than you may think!
My hubby got me this cute “I Miss Obama” graphic crew neck sweatshirt for Christmas and it’s one of my favorite shirts ever. It’s totally true. I do miss Obama.
Yes, he’s been out of office a while. No I will never stop loving him.
But it’s also SO cozy! Our California winters aren’t that cold, so usually, a sweatshirt is all I need to keep me warm.
I generally wear my sweatshirts a little oversized which I find super comfortable but to ensure they don’t veer into sloppy consider sizing down.
And I prefer a crewneck since a hood typically turns the back of my hair into a rat’s nest…
A little bit of a tuck in the front of the jeans helps keep it from feeling too frumpy.
Cute booties give tons of style and turn it from a cute house outfit to something you can wear to the store.
Top it off with heavy gold jewelry (which I did not do in these images) and you’ve got a solid outfit that is still cozy but heavy on the style.
Throw on sneakers for a more athletic look.
And don’t forget that you can layer sweatshirts too. A collared shirt peeking out might be just the pop you need to feel put together.
This isn’t my favorite look since, without the front tuck, this sweatshirt hits the widest point of my hips. But I really love this sweatshirt. Frump city.
Luckily, oversized tops are kind of in at the moment.
Also, these adorable jeans are from the Spring cabi collection. They have updated the wash since I got these but the shape is one of my favorites!
