ELEMIS Skincare Review and Favorite Anti-Aging Products
I’ve been trying out ELEMIS Skincare and wanted to share my product reviews in case you’ve been wanting to try it. These products are great for anti-aging and hydration and I’m obsessed with how the moisturizers make my skin feel. And the scents! Mmmmmm.

Over the last year I’ve really noticed that the state of my skin was matching the state of the world. But as restrictions start to lift, I decided it was time to dive into a little self-care and update my skincare routine.

My Background
I want to give you a little background on myself so you can understand where I’m coming from with this review.
I am a 44-year-old woman with no beauty expertise. I am not a product junkie but am looking for products that do what they say they will. While I’m open to full systems, I’m pretty low maintenance and only want to use a few products.
I’m sharing my thoughts on the ELEMIS Skincare line to give you my honest opinion and let you know what I struggle with to help you decide if it’s right for you.

As a teen and into early adulthood, my skin was very oily and I suffered from acne which left me with scarring. I’ve done some treatments like Microneedling and CO2 Laser Treatments to help with my skin texture.
In the last few years, my skin has changed from oily to combination which means I’ve needed to switch up the products that I use. I now look for anti-aging properties with lots of hydration to help improve tone, texture and lessening the look of fine lines.
And as a Southern California native and resident with a history of Basal Cell skin cancer, I need products to protect my skin and help with damage.
ELEMIS Skincare Best Sellers
I was sent some of the best-selling products from ELEMIS. While I did not pick out these products specifically, I think they are all very well suited to my current skin conditions and was pleased with the selection.
ELEMIS Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30
The Pro-Collagen Marine Cream product is labeled as an anti-wrinkle day cream with broad-spectrum SPF 30.
The Pro-Collagen line is known for its hydration and firming properties, thanks to the marine and plant ingredients, making it great for someone with more mature skin. The addition of sun protection in this Marine Cream is a bonus for daily wear.
I love that this day cream is lightweight but moisturizing and I feel like my skin drinks it up when I put it on. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin. I use this product under my makeup in the morning and it doesn’t make me look shiny.
The scent is fresh and lightly floral. It smells clean and it’s instantly refreshing when you put it on your skin. I use it on my chest as well since it’s a great way to get daily sun protection for everyday living.
While this is a day cream, I’ve also used at night after cleansing. Some moisturizers instantly make me break out but this soothes my skin and has been awesome. But they also sell a night cream as well.
ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
This Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm is used in place of soap to help remove the dirt and makeup of the day. I was most nervous about this as I typically stick to oil-free products and this one has Elderberry, Starflower and something called Optimega oils along with rose and mimosa waxes.
The balm deep cleanses while nourishing the skin at the same time and includes anti-aging algae and more. It’s a two-step process where you smooth the balm all over your dry skin, then wet your fingers and massage even deeper.
A washcloth helps to remove any excess balm and your skin is left feeling super clean, with no residue. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. And although I’ve only ever used it as a cleanser, you can leave it on as a mask for even more nourishment.
As mentioned before, the products are all made with aromatherapy in mind and this one is perfection. It smells like lavender to me, although I’m not sure that there is any lavender in it. It’s a whole vibe when removing my makeup at the end of the day and I love it.
It looks like a thick jelly and instantly melts into your skin. This is a must-try! It also comes in naked (unscented) and Rose, Neroli and Water Mint.
ELEMIS Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads
As mentioned above, I need all the help I can get in the resurfacing department. I was very excited to try these ELEMIS Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads but wasn’t sure if I would love them if the solution they are soaked in was too oily.
Created to use twice a day (morning and night) after cleansing, these textured pads help to reduce the look of dark spots, pores and uneven skin texture. And although I’m not sure what it does exactly, these have lactic acid which I remember loving when I used to get facials.
These have a fruity, clean scent that is really nice. When I first tried these, I used them in the morning. I walked away to make coffee and when I came back to put on my makeup my skin looked glowy. When I felt my skin, it didn’t feel like there was anything sitting on the surface.
I really love these. And while the rest of the resurfacing line is on the pricy side, I would pay for these pads to use twice a day after the results I got. And since this is an area where I really struggle the targeted ingredients make tons of sense for me.
ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Eye Revive Mask
This ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Eye Revive Mask is an anti-wrinkle eye mask that is hydrating and helps to brighten and rejuvenate the eyes.
As this is also from the Pro-Collagen line, it feels very soothing as you put it around the eye contour. I use this at night since I have trouble with my undereye makeup smudging my mascara although you can use it under makeup if you prefer.
It is suggested that you use this at least 3 times per week for best results, but I’ve added it to my nightly routine.
This product looks similar to the balm but goes on more creamy. It absorbs quickly and feels so great. This one doesn’t have much of a scent at all, unlike the other products I tried.
It has some ingredients that sound completely made up like “Watermelon Snow Algae and antioxidant-rich Bush Clover”. But if they help my eyes to look younger and less tired, I don’t care what it has in it.
ELEMIS Superfood Facial Oil
I was also sent the ELEMIS Superfood Facial Oil but I haven’t tried it out yet. Face oils make me nervous as I have PTSD from having oily skin growing up. I’ve tried face oils in the past and they have been ok. But I’m holding off on this one until my skin is really used to the other products.
This plant based superfoods oil is antioxidant rich and full of omega to nourish the skin and give it a healthy glow. (To me, glow means oily but this is my personal battle to overcome).
This one smells like my favorite green smoothie. The directions say to use 3-4 drops and massage over your face and neck. It can be used alone or before your daily moisturizer.
I’ve used it on the back of my hand twice. The first time it looked like it remained shiny. The second time I rubbed it in a little bit more and the shine went away.
When I add it, I will add at night to ensure that it absorbs well and won’t leave me looking tacky and will remember to really work it into the skin. As with the other ELEMIS products, I’m guessing it will absorb well and I will love this too.
My Final Review
Overall, I’m really loving these ELEMIS skincare products. I am taking it slow and introducing products gradually and my skin hasn’t broken out at all, which is highly unusual.
What I’m drawn to about these products is how amazingly well they absorb into the skin and how refreshing they feel. My skin feels soothed after applying. And while I was only sent a handful of items to try, there are a bunch more that I would love to add to my routine as well.
I love the scents of the products and although they are all different, they don’t fight with each other.
While the price is on the higher side for me, a little goes a long way. You don’t need to use a ton of product to get results. And be sure to check the Offers page for free gifts with purchase and more.
