Marival Distinct Riviera Nayarit (All-Inclusive Mexico Resort)

Marival Distinct Riviera Nayarit is a must-visit for your family! This all-inclusive family resort in Mexico is a quiet, tropical paradise. This fantastic property has everything you need for an amazing family vacation and it’s just a half hour from the Puerto Vallarta airport.

I just found my new favorite place in Mexico, Riviera Nayarit. Located in the state of Nuevo Vallarta, this quiet town is a short drive from the hustle and bustle of the Puerto Vallarta airport.

Absolutely magical. That’s how I think of my time in Riviera Nayarit. If you haven’t read the 15 reasons why I fell in love with this special part of Mexico, take a second to go do that now.

The landscape, the people, the ocean – it was begging for me to see more of it, but you still want to have the perfect home base. That comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day where you are taken care of. Your home away from home. 

While it’s been a while since I visited, I felt safe every moment of my trip.

Marival Distinct Luxury Residences is the best all-inclusive family resort in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. And you need to bring your family.

Located about 30 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport, Marival Distinct Luxury Residences is easy to get to and the perfect place to stay for your Mexican getaway. 

Check-in is handled differently here. You are whisked into the wine bar for a more relaxed experience. It’s the perfect way to ease into your vacation. From the moment you walk into the hotel, it just feels good. You know I don’t hate a wine bar…

You’ll immediately notice the infinity fountain running down the middle of the lobby and be able to see the gorgeous blue pools and thatched roof of the outdoor restaurant, Lemongrass. 

The grounds feel tropical and inviting and feel sprawling even though this resort isn’t huge. The property features suites, villas and penthouses to suit the needs of your party. 

The resort is upscale with and perfectly suited for families looking for that all-inclusive experience in Mexico. The resort was quiet but fun. This is not the place you bring your friends for a bachelorette party.

I mean, you could – you’d love every minute of your trip, but no one else on their vacation would like you. 

The vibe is relaxed and refined without being stuffy.

Marival Distinct is a 4-diamond resort that is that feeling of home that you are looking for.

I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was such a great size for a family looking to spread out a little bit on their vacation.

With a kitchen, dining room and living room space, as well as a balcony that stretched the full length of the room, there was space to spread out and get comfortable. 

The decor is traditional and elegant. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. They offered nightly turndown service complete with little treats including delicious cookies. 

The bathrooms were well-appointed and spacious and the perfect spot to get ready for the day. Hiding behind the door was a whirlpool tub with sliding windows so you could have an ocean view if you wanted it. 

They provide L’Occitane amenities, lux bathrobes, and in-residence washers and dryers which is such a great feature for traveling families! 

The Best All-Inclusive Resort in Riviera Nayarit!

The rooms are not ocean front but most have at least some ocean view. The balcony is a gorgeous place to enjoy the residence’s 24-hour room service.

There is beach access in front of the Mozzamare Restaurant. You will find lounge chairs some day beds as well as an infinity pool. So pretty!

Our trip was so packed that we didn’t get a chance to hang out on the beach but I just KNOW I would have really enjoyed this area. 

The hotel offers a concierge service to help you make the most of your vacation time and can assist in setting up excursions or tours like the ones we took with Vallarta Adventures. 

The hotel is home to 4 restaurants and 1 wine bar, which are included in your all-inclusive stay. From the casual outdoor dining of Lemongrass and Mozzamare to more traditional Omaggio, you’ll love trying each place.

The rooftop restaurant, Insu, has gorgeous sunset views with inventive cuisine and colorful cocktails.

The food was great. From past experience, an all-inclusive resort can be hit or miss with the food. I enjoyed everything I ate here and felt like they had a lot of variety for people looking to enjoy a gourmet experience.

Mozzamare has about 6 different versions of chilaquiles on its breakfast menu. So that stole my heart, for sure.

There are a few things that aren’t included in your stay, however. NickSan restaurant is available at an extra cost and is a fusion of Japanese and Mexican cuisine.

From the world-class cuisine to the cool ambiance and outdoor dining area, it’s a great place to enjoy a delicious meal. 

Melange Spa is also inspired by different cultures and features themed treatments and treatment rooms. Several of my fellow bloggers splurged on massages and were very happy with the results.

They offer massages, facials, aromatherapy and other luxury treatments that will leave you renewed. 

You also have access to amenities at Marival Emotions!

I think this is the best resort for my family and I have two teenagers. If you have younger kids, you may want to check out Marival Emotion.

Marival Emotion is another family-friendly property located a few minute walk (or golf cart ride) down the street. And as Distinct guests, you are able to use a lot of the amenities of this property as well.

They have a kids club and a nightclub as well as pools (one with waterslides!) and more restaurants!

The staff was always super helpful and friendly. The resort was spotless and comfortable. The grounds were gorgeous and tropical and the Marival Distinct Luxury Residences was the perfect home base for our Mexican excursions.

I had never stayed at a Marival hotel group property before and would absolutely return. 

Their execution of luxury service was flawless and left a big impression on me.

I mentioned in my post on why I fell in love with Riviera Nayarit that I never once got a headache or felt anxious while on this trip.

Part of this has to do with the fact that the hotel knew what I needed before I needed it. They were quick to lend a helping hand if needed or an easy smile.
